Multi-Platinum Music Icon Bret Michaels Post Game Party Saturday, March 23rd

March 19, 2024

Multi-platinum music icon and lead singer of Poison, Bret Michaels, is coming to San Diego for a “Party with a Purpose” following Saturday night’s (March 23rd) San Diego Seals vs. Las Vegas Desert Dogs National Lacrosse League showdown at Pechanga Arena. The game starts at 7 p.m. and Michaels will perform immediately after.

Set to coincide with the team’s Military Appreciation theme, Michaels’ postgame concert will be an incredible event honoring veterans and active-duty military alike. It will be Michaels’ first performance in San Diego since his triumphant 2022 show at Petco Park that honored veterans, first-responders, utility workers and frontline workers.

“I can’t think of a better way to salute the men and women of the armed forces than by bringing Bret Michaels and his Parti-Gras to rock Pechanga Arena,” said Seals President and CEO Paul Speaker. “As the son of a veteran who comes from a long line of military vets, we know that Bret has spent his entire lifetime honoring and supporting those who have served, and, as a music icon, he always brings nothing but a good time. Seals fans are in for a true party.”

It will be a family affair in San Diego as Michaels’ daughter, Raine, works as the team’s television sideline reporter.

Besides being a multi-platinum music icon, Michaels also is a reality TV superstar, a creative entrepreneur and a dedicated philanthropist. Michaels’ iconic smash hits include “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” “Nothin’ But a Good Time,” “Talk Dirty To Me,” his crowd-favorite cover “Your Mama Don’t Dance” and many more.

From raising awareness for Type 1 Diabetes that he has lived with his entire life, to supporting the military as the son of a veteran, Michaels has put as much passion into his lifelong charitable outreaches as he has his music.
