Seals bolster offense with acquisition of forward Clark Walter from Saskatchewan

Just hours before the start of free agency, the Seals added some firepower to their offense, completing a trade with Saskatchewan for veteran forward Clark Walter. The Seals sent a 2029 third-round pick to the Rush in exchange for Walter.

A former third round pick of the Rush himself, Walter is an experienced left-handed shooter who will give the Seals depth on the right side of their offensive attack. Walter’s played in 55 career games, playoffs included, all with the Rush. He’s scored 55 career goals and assisted on 75 others for 130 career points while also scooping up 197 loose balls.

The 27-year-old, 5-11, 180 pounder hails from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, the neighboring hometown of fellow Seals forward Wes Berg (Coquitlam).
