Austin Staats collects four as Seals beat Calgary 12-9
The stars of San Diego lacrosse SHOWED OUT Saturday night with Drew Brees and Bret Michaels in attendance. Austin Staats cracked open the scoring with his first goal of season for the Seals. The former Calgary Roughnecks Curtis Dickson and Dane Dobbie joined in on the fun as they both flew into the crease for two goals a piece. Captain Wesley Berg tallied two goals with Tre LeClaire and newly aquired Seal Kyle Jackson getting shots past the Calgary goaltender.
San Diego goalie Chris Origlieri held his opponents from Alberta scoreless in the fourth, coming out victorious against reigning NLL MVP Christian Del Bianco.
San Diego Seals head to the current NLL Champions Buffalo Bandits next weekend and return home December 29th against the Rochester Knighthawks. The Seals will be hosting a RETRO SURF/SKATE NIGHT celebrating the surf & skate culture of Southern California.
